Dr. Krishantha Kapugama is a highly accomplished professional with a unique blend of expertise in aviation, security, and humanitarian relief. With a Ph.D. in Biometrics and a focus on fingerprint rectification, Kapugama has dedicated his career to ensuring safety and security in various capacities.
As a Wing Commander in the Sri Lanka Air Force, Kapugama led training and operations, prioritizing safe aircraft operations. He played a crucial role in humanitarian air operations, particularly during tsunami and flood relief efforts. His military experience also includes instructing at the Junior Command and Staff College in China Bay.
Kapugama's expertise extends beyond the military, as he currently serves as the Managing Director of Aditi Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a security auditing and consultation firm. He leads strategic operations, oversees business development, and manages client relations. Additionally, Kapugama is the Director of Special Projects at Blue Skies Aviation Solutions Pvt Ltd, where he provides strategic direction and manages client relationships in the aviation sector.
With a strong background in humanitarian law and disaster relief, Kapugama has contributed to various initiatives focused on women and children's rights, protection, and gender-based violence. His multilingual skills and international experience make him a valuable asset in promoting peace, security, and humanitarian causes
Furthermore, Dr. Kapugama has been appointed as the Honorary Vice Chancellor of the Sri Lanka Chapter for the International Roma Cultural University (IRCU). This appointment recognizes his contributions and expertise in promoting peace, security, and humanitarian causes.

Major (Retd) Hemantha Dayaratne USP is a distinguished Sri Lankan veteran, academic, and peace and reconciliation expert, blending over 24 years of exemplary active military service with advanced scholarly credentials in conflict transformation. He holds an MA in Peace Studies from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica, an institution dedicated to training global leaders in peacemaking, reconciliation, and the prevention of armed conflict in line with the UN Charter.
During his military career, he served in operational, intelligence, and media leadership roles at the height of Sri Lanka’s conflict, gaining firsthand understanding of the complexities of post-war recovery and reconciliation. His professional development included international exposure to United Nations peacekeeping doctrine, mediation frameworks, and conflict de-escalation strategies—principles used by UN missions worldwide to stabilize war-torn societies, protect civilians, and support the rebuilding of governance and social cohesion.
Beyond the armed forces, Major Dayaratne has been a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Defence Studies & Analysis in New Delhi, a lecturer in strategic studies at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, and a consultant in corporate affairs and industrial relations. His unique perspective integrates military discipline with humanitarian principles, enabling him to advise governments, NGOs, and corporate stakeholders on resolving disputes—whether armed, political, social, or commercial—through inclusive dialogue, reconciliation processes, and culturally aware peacebuilding methods.
Decorated with the Desha Putra Medal for battlefield injuries sustained in the face of the enemy, and the Uttama Seva Padakkama for exemplary service and moral conduct, he remains a strong advocate that lasting solutions to conflicts—whether within nations or between communities—require both deep practical experience and the academic rigour of peace and conflict studies.
